			This is no ordinary Dixieland band! Old traditional favorites are stunningly reworked into exciting new entities thanks to the individual artistry of each performer and the brilliant arranging skills of NEA/Lila Wallace award recipient, Joey Sellers. A working ensemble for over 23 years with virtually unchanged personnel, the Strutters have performed in 49 states and 9 countries!

The Strutters' vast repertoire encompasses over half a century of jazz styles from the early New Orleans Dixieland and Blues sounds of Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, and Fats Waller, the timeless classics of Porter, Carmichael, and Gershwin, and the exciting swing sounds from the libraries of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and others. The ensemble's entertaining show style presentation can include colorful costumes, a stage set, tap dancing, vocal selections, novelty numbers, and the use of rare and unusual musical instruments.
